By registering as this child’s guardian for this event, you confirm that you take responsibility for this child and will be accompanying the child on the day. You agree that the organisers shall not be liable for any injury, accident, loss or damage to either yourself or the child in consequence of your participation in this event. You are also declaring that both you and the child are medically fit on the date of this application and that you will not participate in this event unless you are medically fit to do so. All participants must obey the marshal’s and organiser’s instructions.
Registration fees are not refundable or transferable. If the child is unable to attend the event after registering you must inform Blythe House Hospice Fundraising Team. You are not permitted to transfer the registration to another child.
There will be professional photographers and filmmakers capturing the event. By registering you consent to films and images of you and the child participating in the event being used in future Blythe House Hospice publications, online and in the media, and to help publicise future events.
We recommend that you wear comfortable clothing suited to running/walking, and well-fitting trainers. You should be prepared for all weather conditions.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances, Blythe House Hospice reserves the right to change or cancel this event as necessary.
No dogs are permitted to take part in the event.
Registration for the Reindeer run includes Reindeer antlers for the child participant. These will be available to collect on the day.
Blythe House Hospice provides care and support for those in the High Peak community affected by cancer, life-threatening illness or bereavement. The care and support Blythe House provides remains completely free of charge. By taking part and fundraising you help us to continue to provide this much needed care. There’s no minimum fundraising requirement but we do ask each Reindeer to try to raise at least £30 in sponsorship. We ask that all sponsor monies are submitted to Blythe House Hospice no later than 10th January 2019. We reserve the right to contact you in the event should you not submit sponsorship funds by the date specified. We strongly recommend that participants in all our events set up an online Just Giving page to raise sponsorship as this money is donated directly to Blythe House Hospice by your sponsors and saves you having to collect in your sponsor money and return it to us.
